How do you get Wmatic to buy Collects? [PC]
For the purchase of paid Collects you will need Wmatic. For free Collects this is not needed. Matic is not the same as Wmatic. We advice to have a portion of Wmatic and Matic in your metamask wallet. This page solves the issue "You do not have enough balance to collect this publication". Below the Steps there are also photos so you can see step by step how it looks like on PC.
Swap Matic for Wmatic:
Log in on Metamask on your PC. (Search for the Puzzle icon in the top right of your screen and choose Metamask and enter your password)
Make sure you are on the Polygon Mainnet. (and not the Ethereum mainnet)
Press 'Swap'.
Type in the amount of Wmatic you want to swap. We advice 10 Wmatic; most paid collects are 1 wmatic.
Choose 'Select a token', type in 'wmatic' and make sure you choose 'WMATIC Wrapped MATIC'.
If needed you can change the 'Swap From'. (It's usually on Matic already)
Press 'Review Swap'.
You can see the estimated gas fees. Press 'Swap' to get the Wmatic.
